What is LubX?

LubX is a specialty formulated high-performance material especially designed and manufactured to work seamlessly with POM, PET, and steel. This makes it suitable for applications in materials-handling and automation technologies. One of its several advanced features is a lower coefficient of friction, which eliminates the possibility of the slip-stick effect (backsliding) almost completely and thus increases process stability.

Why use LubX?

LubX has exceptional sliding properties while exhibiting a very low-temperature development. This means lesser wear and a longer lifespan of the entire system. LubX was developed for systems intended to be operated at higher velocities and pressure loads, meaning increased productivity.

LubX has been developed in such a way to minimise friction but also with consideration to the wear properties of its sliding partner. Compared with conventional sliding materials, conveying systems equipped with LubX need considerably less energy.
