POM – Polyacetal

POM also known as Polyacetal, is an engineering thermoplastic that is often used in precision parts that require high stiffness, low friction and excellent dimensional stability. It has good sliding properties, excellent fatigue resistance making it versatile for intricate components.

Homopolymers and copolymers differ as homopolymers have a superior degree of density, hardness and stability. However, copolymers have increased wear and chemical resistance.
