Polyamide 66 – PA 66

Often used for smaller applications, Polyamide 66 provides advanced firmness and wear resistance as opposed to PA 6. Contrasted to other cast varieties, Polyamide 66 has higher water absorption. PA 66 is similar to cast type PA 6 G but is generally more expensive. 

Design possibilities may also be restricted due to the size and unit weight being produced. The main properties of PA 66 include good mechanical stability, high impact resistance, good damping properties and good wear resistance.
